Norwegian Cruise Line is introducing the Escape this Fall

I had the opportunity last week to attend an event hosted by some of Norwegian’s sales and management team introducing the Escape to local travel professionals.  It was an exhilarating event and Norwegian certainly knows how to spoil travel professionals.  It is no different with their guests on board their fleet and they have really stepped up to the plate with the new Escape.

She is a magnificent 4,200-passenger ship that will appeal to singles, couples and families thanks to the thoughtful layout of the ship, options for dining and spectacular entertainment options.  To be able to travel to multiple ports in the Caribbean on this ship, in such comfort and with so many things to do on board makes the Escape a fantastic value for travelers!

Only Norwegian offers a quarter-mile wraparound oceanfront promenade that allows you to connect with the sea while experiencing some of their signature venues like Monderno Churrascaria, Cagney’s Steakhouse and the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar.

Additionally, Jose Garces, famed restaurateur, James Beard award winner and celebrity chef is bringing his expertise and flair for the delicious to Norwegian Escape via two never-before-seen-at-sea dining experiences:  Bayamo, a seafood-inspired Latin dining experience, and Pincho Tapas Bar, an authentic Spanish tapas restaurant.

Let us not forget, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Sea.  Inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett, this isn’t just a restaurant.  It’s a state of mind.

Ahhh, and the entertainment!  If you like golden oldies, you’ll love Million Dollar Quartet.  This Tony Award-winning musical showcases a twist of fate that brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together for one of the greatest jam sessions of all time.  You’ll find yourself singing along, I know you will!  And who wouldn’t want to see After Midnight, the show that brings the music of The Cotton Club to life?  Personally, I’m dying to check out The Supper Club with For The Record: Dear John Hughes bringing his movies to life in a 360-degree post-modern cabaret.  I love live comedy, so there will be a night at Headliners Comedy Club for me as well.

There is also a three story Ropes Course, an Aqua Park including a tandem waterslide and Rooftop 9, a 9 hole mini-golf course with a Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on board.  If you can’t find something you like to do on this ship, you are actually trying to be contrary!
