The Time to Book a Cruise is Now!

January, February and March each year, something amazing happens.  Cruises go on sale.  Big sales.  All the cruise lines introduce great offers, reduced deposits, and value added amenities to get consumers to book with them during what is called WAVE season.

The majority of offers are often rolled out in early January.  Competition between the cruise lines for your business is fierce, so they are all trying to outdo each other.  Whether you want to see Alaska, Europe, South America, the Caribbean or something else, this is your big chance for fantastic deals.

Booking during WAVE season also offers you the best stateroom selection, before the category you want is sold out.  With many of the lines offering reduced deposits, you can hold the cruise you want for a minimal deposit, and then pay the cruise off incrementally until final payment is due.  Cruising on a budget, kind of like layaway, how wonderful it that?

With offers that range from buy one get one half off to free air fare, the choices can become overwhelming.  It is wise to use a travel advisor during this feeding frenzy.  Travel professionals check all the fine print, and make sure that you are not only going on the cruise that suits your travel style the best, but that you are getting the best value for your money.

A perfect example of this would be if one line is $100 more than another, but they are including free beverage packages, you are better off spending the $100 and saving money on soda and alcohol on your cruise.
